The Chinese-French Workshop in Theoretical Chemistry has the purpose to initiate and strengthen bilateral collaborations between the Chinese and French communities of theoretical chemists. The working sessoins are devided into several themes. Each French participants will give a presentation for one theme by 20 minutes. A Chinese participants in the same domain of research will also give a 20-minute presentation. Another 20 minutes will be devoted to discussions to encourage fruitful scientific exchanges.

The first workshop set in France in Fall 2008 and was supported by the French Network of Theoretical Chemist (RFCT). 13 Chinese professors and researchers from all theoretical and computational chemistry domains were invited to spend 6 days in France in order to meet French colleagues. In the 2nd Workshop (CFWTC2010) 16 French professors and researchers from all theoretical and computational chemistry domains have met their Chinese colleagues in Beijing. (see http://alpha.univ-mlv.fr/CFWTC2010)

The 3rd workshop (CFWTC2011) took place at the hotel Le Belambra in the village La-Colle-sur-Loup, near Nice, in the South of France. 14 Chinese professors and researchers from all theoretical and computational chemistry domains were invited to meet French colleagues.
